If you don’t like your microwave suspended above your head in between the kitchen cabinets or over the rage, change the layout! Consider installing the microwave below the counter, inside an island, or even into the wall for a seamless look. If you have kids, having an additional microwave where they can reach is also a great idea!
Who’s Coming Over?
If hosting is your thing, consider having enough counter space for food prep, cooking, and meals. If you cook frequently, consider having enough space between the sink and the range. You can even incorporate two different countertop heights. This can make cooking a bit easier. You’ll be able to organize with less fuss or complications, with things out of the way!
If you prefer something extra in addition to a dining room, having bar-style seating incorporated into an island is an excellent choice. You don’t have to worry about setting the table or lugging your meal to the next room. Having island seating is quick and easy!
Space to Walk
Something that is often forgotten when planning a kitchen remodel is enough space to walk and easy access around certain areas.
